The Mill A School District is requesting qualifications for Architectural & Engineering Services from interested firms for a current roofing repair / replacement project and future district capital construction projects. Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted to Amy Lomax, Mill A School District, Vice Principal / Director of Special Programs via email amy.lomax@millasd.org no later than 3:00PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Documents received after the designated time and date will not be considered. PROJECT SUMMARY
The Mill A School District is requesting qualifications for Architectural & Engineering Services from interested firms for a current roofing repair / replacement project and future district capital construction projects.
PROJECT AWARD
The Mill A School District will review all eligible submittals in late March 2026 and may select a roster of firms to provide design and consulting services based on individual project requirements. The district’s selection committee may ask questions of submitting firms via email or phone during the review process. The district intends to enter into a negotiation for a design agreement with the firm offering the best qualifications and experience judged by the district’s selection committee. The school anticipates award the work in early April 2026.
QUALIFICATION SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
Professional firms interested in providing services as described above must:
Address their qualifications package to the Mill A School District in PDF electronic format via email only and shall be limited to one, single-page cover letter and a maximum of ten, one-sided (10) 8.5” x 11” pages for each discipline as listed above.
Statement of Qualifications shall be submitted to Amy Lomax, Mill A School District, Vice Principal / Director of Special Programs via email amy.lomax@millasd.org no later than 3:00PM on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Submissions received after the designated time and date will not be considered.
All qualified individuals and firms, including minority and women-owned firms, who are lawfully engaged in the practice of architecture and/or engineering under Chapter 18 of the RCW are encouraged to apply.
The district reserves the right to cancel or to reissue the RFQ in whole or in part, prior to execution of a contract, and reject any qualifications not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements and to waive informalities in this qualification’s response process.
Each submittal must include:
A letter of introduction that includes the firm’s strategy to provide face-to-face project coordination to Mill A School District personnel and the district’s construction manager.
Provide examples of completed K-12 projects, including references with names and phone numbers of contacts.
An organizational chart and summary resumes of key personnel assigned to the project.
The firm’s capacity and availability to immediately commence work.
