Mill A Moves Forward!
with a New Superintendent
The Mill A School District Board of Directors has appointed our Principal Kelly Stickel as Superintendent/Principal!
Please join me in congratulating Kelly when you see her next!
Kelly was hired in August as Principal after a search process focusing on candidates who value relationships, leadership, collaboration and communication, as the foundation to setting the bar high for academic achievement and success for students and staff alike.
Kelly’s performance since her first day has been one of excellence, excellence in the primary capabilities we were looking for. Kelly has created a successful team environment which recognizes the value of all staff and giving authority along with responsibilities.
I feel the environment at school is positive and enjoyable, supportive leadership along with recognition of each individual’s value, along with respect for our differences.
Kelly was sworn in as Superintendent on Wednesday, September 25th. The next step in the District’s Forward Movement Plan is bringing on a Vice Principal. With the addition of a Vice Principal, we will have an administrative team with the capabilities and expertise to address the unique needs of our Pacific Crest Academy while providing support and guidance to our elementary school and support all staff. This leadership team will embody the goals and vision of the Board which began in late Spring and has taken us to this last step. We anticipate our Vice Principal will be on board within a few weeks!
