COVID-19 UPDATE Governor Mandates School Closure
Friday afternoon Governor Inslee announced that he would be extending the closure of Washington public schools to include ALL K-12 schools, effective Tuesday, March 17.
Mill A School and PCIA closed March 17 - April 24.
** SCHOOL MEALS AVAILABLE FOR ALL MILL A AREA CHILDREN **
OSPI has directed schools to provide breakfast and lunch meals to ALL children (ages 1 - 18) in the district boundaries. Call the school office to request school breakfast & lunch for pickup at the school or at bus stop.
During this next season we are all going to need to be creative, flexible, and understanding. This is a temporary situation - and if all cooperate in reducing spread, we will be able to return to normal schooling and daily activities soon. Throughout this school closure, Mill A School and PCIA teachers will be exploring alternative ways to support our students in their learning while they are at home.
Until notified otherwise, PCIA classes will not continue online, but instructors will be working on creative solutions to support ongoing student learning in each subject area.
Working together, we can get through this without significant negative impact to student learning.
Refer to the links below for additional updates, and prevention and treatment information.
Please call the school (509-538-2522) if you have any questions.
